There’s a point in a JK build where the factory front frame is no longer enough.

Low center of gravity setups, larger axles, 16 inch coilovers, and real suspension travel demand more structure, more clearance, and more intentional design. The Tomahawk Front Half Kit replaces the compromised factory section with a foundation built for serious front-end geometry.

This system moves the steering box forward 2 1/8 inches and up 5/8 inch. That upward relocation corrects a common issue on low CG builds running 2005 and newer Super Duty axles where the housing contacts the steering box at full compression. Instead of raising ride height or limiting up travel, the steering is repositioned where it belongs.

Up to a 3 inch front stretch is supported while retaining a steering box configuration. Custom steering and track bar solutions may be required depending on axle selection and overall layout.

The kit supports up to a 3.0 16 inch coilover, giving the front suspension the room it needs to cycle correctly without fighting factory sheet metal.

This version adds a fully welded bull bar constructed from 1.75 inch x .120 wall DOM steel tubing. The tube is reinforced with a laser-cut steel gusset and mirrors the design language used on our Tomahawk front bumpers. It ties visually and structurally into the front half structure while adding protection and presence without compromising clearance.

This is not cosmetic. It is a structural front-end reconfiguration built for real suspension work.
