Our American Made Ram 2500 RockSport Black Reservoir Shocks are custom engineered, meticulously designed and precision manufactured in-house here at MetalCloak. These Aluminum Bodied 2.5" reservoir shocks have 8 precision compression settings that allow you to tune specifically to meet your Gold standard.

The RockSport Remote Reservoir Black shocks are specifically made to work with MetalCloak True Dual-Rate Coils; the Digressive valving provide the best of slow and fast speed performance.

Shocks are made with 2.5 diameter, 3/16 thick wall aluminum with a huge interior for fluid to ensure they stay cool and hold up to on and off-road abuse.

The Remote reservoir connects to the shock with a 3000psi high working pressure, stainless-steel braided, synthetic lined reservoir hose, with optimized flow orifices to allow unhindered shock oil flow.

Unique valve stack with parabolic shim-form (Patent Pending #63/743,954) provides a compact and simplified valve assembly that eliminates shim stack problems of conventional methods, allowing for our exacting target numbers to be achieved.

Our completed package allows for maximum shaft length to be utilized and provides more travel than any similar size Monotube shock; even the internals of the end caps are machined out for additional travel.

Functional Type III Mil-Spec clear HARD anodized process is used on the shock piston to keep the assembly from wearing down from the high velocity fluid transfer, ensuring a long lasting service life.

Oversized 7/8" hard chrome plated shafts, induction hardened to Rockwell C 60+, exceeding most competitors in durability and can take a beating over and over providing the BEST protection from rock debris; this allows a consistently smooth surface for seals and wiper to ride on.

A triple seal pack keeps shock oil in and contaminants out. Removable Bump Cap protects the seal assembly from full compression damage and provides access for servicing the shock.

Large, easy to grip billet knob with laser marked numbers allow you to change the compression setting simply; choose from 8 settings that add an additional 15% compression force at each click to tune in your Gold Standard. Dial in your off-road comfort along with great daily driving performance.

RockSport Black Reservoir Shocks provide a high end shock with adjustable compression settings allowing you to dial in your Rams ride for fantastic performance with a comfortable yet stable compression and rebound cycle for Rock Crawling, Overlanding, Daily Driving or “spirited” off-road navigation (wink).

IMPORTANT NOTES

Large Body: RockSport Black Shocks are 2.5 diameter LARGE BODIED long-travel shocks. These ARE a Direct fitment with the model specific brackets for JK Wrangler. All 2.5 in diameter shocks will require model specific consideration for “proper” fitment; additional bump stops, properly back spaced wheels, brake caliper clearance, etc... If you are unsure of how to check for fitment please give us a call.

Recommendation: We recommend you have a suspension specialist align your Ram once a MetalCloak suspension is Installed.
