RJ-530000-1 - Tool Base (for Uni-Balls and JL/JT Axle Housing JJs)

For use with RockJock's RJ-301000-103 Johnny Joint axle housing kit for the JL Wrangler, JL Unlimited and JT Gladiator, as well as our front axle housing Uni-Balls, this tool base is machined 1.783 in. OD steel bar stock and features a 1.030 in. ID bore and used in conjunction with the appropriate adapter washer to create the proper tool for the job!
The JL/JT front axle housing kit requires the use of RJ-530000-3 adapter washer and the Uni-Balls require the use of RJ-530001-3 adapter washer.
The washers feature machined hubs that lock into the bore in the top of this base to create the proper tool for either job, creating a tool assembly to knock or press either style of joint into place. The assembled tool is then intended to fit over the pivot ball flange on a Johnny Joint or Uni-Ball and butt up against the joint outer barrel providing a solid point for driving the joint into a front axle housing casting with a hammer.
