Kryptonite Fox Steering Stabilizer Kit for 2015–2025 Chevy/Gmc 2500hd/3500hd

In 2015, GM moved to an electronically assisted steering system on their HD trucks and eliminated the factory steering stabilizer entirely. While the updated steering system improved overall steering effort and responsiveness, real-world driving showed there was still noticeable feedback transferred through the steering wheel, especially on trucks running larger tires, aftermarket wheels, leveling kits, and upgraded suspension components.

After extensive testing, we found that adding a properly matched steering stabilizer significantly improved steering feel, stability, and driver confidence, even with the factory electronic assist steering system. While GM designed these trucks around stock wheel and tire setups, many HD owners demand more from their trucks both on and off-road.

Developed in collaboration with FOX, this kit combines a proven FOX 2.0 Performance Series stabilizer with a heavy-duty Kryptonite fabricated mount engineered specifically for trucks not equipped with factory stabilizer tabs. The result is improved steering control, reduced shimmy and road feedback, and a more stable, predictable driving experience.

The FOX aluminum body stabilizer features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design for consistent damping performance and fade resistance under demanding conditions. Combined with Kryptonite’s fabricated steel mounting system and easy-install slotted bracket design, this kit delivers a clean, durable solution for leveled and lifted GM HD trucks running larger wheel and tire combinations.
