Our Jeep Cherokee XJ 8.8 Ford axle swap kit contains all the parts that you will need to install a Ford 8.8 axle in the rear of your Jeep. The 8.8 is a huge upgrade in a jeep, it has a matching lug pattern, a much larger ring and pinion, larger axle shafts, and an overall stronger housing than the stock axle. This kit requires welding. This kit is designed to work with a Ford 8.8 axle with 3-1/4" axle tubes.
