MetalCloak's Jeep JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator Frame-Built Bumper (Pre-Configured) - one of our most popular builds.

The Frame-Built Combo Bumper Base replaces the weak factory bumper with a 3/16" steel plate that is a sturdy platform for mounting a winch to. The base allows you to choose your end caps, winch guards, stingers or light bar attachments for a fully customized look.

The base is designed to mount all popular winch brands; the unique design ensures the winch is as low as possible for the best possible air flow through the Seven Slot grill.

The light caps mounts directly to the MetalCloak combo bumper base measuring 49” from end to end when installed. The light caps are made of strong CNC formed 1/8" steel, have built in approach angles to help slide up and over obstacles.

The mid stinger's low-profile design adds protection without obstructing your line of sight. Made of strong 3/16" hot rolled steel and 1 3/4” steel tubing. The stinger protects the winch from damage when out on the trail while providing no loss in approach angle like typical bulky front bumpers.

The mid stinger bolts directly to the MetalCloak frame-built front bumper system for a quick and easy installation. All hardware is included to secure the stinger into place. The mid stinger comes in MetalCloak’s signature black powder coat to protect it against corrosion and rust while being abused out on the trail.

Frame-Built Combo Bumper Base, 49" Light Caps and Mid Stinger are finished in MetalCloak's signature black powdercoat.

Skid Plate

Don't want to cut off the factory frame crossbar under your JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator Bumper? Then reinforce it! The 1/8" steel front bumper skid plate ties into the bumper and stock bracket and provides a skid surface to help protect the factory frame crossbar when the obstacles are a little bigger than anticipated. Finished in black texture powder coat. 

Factory Lights: The lights from the factory equipped steel bumper will not fit.

Mojave: Mojave Model JT's may need modification to the shock reservoir bracket to fit in its original position

Recovery Points: Shackle mounts are engineered to be used as recovery points only; the shackle mounts are NOT designed for flat-towing.
