The Frame-Built Bumper Base replaces the weak factory bumper with a 3/16" steel plate that is a sturdy platform for mounting a winch to. The base allows you to choose your end caps, winch guards, stingers or light bar attachments for a fully customized look.

The base is designed to mount all popular winch brands; the unique design ensures the winch is as low as possible for the best possible air flow through the Seven Slot grill.

The hi crawler caps mounts directly to the MetalCloak frame built bumper base measuring 43” from end to end when installed. The hi crawler caps are designed to work in conjunction with the hi-mount shackle kit, made of strong laser cut 3/16” steel, have built in approach angles to help slide up and over obstacles, and is finished in MetalCloak’s signature black texture powder coat to help protect them against the elements.

The hi-mount shackles mount directly to the MetalCloak bumper base and are designed to hold 3/4" D-ring shackles. 2” thick aluminum structure provides a strong recovery point when out on the trail. The hi-mount shackles are finished in type-III mil spec black anodized finish to help protect them against the elements. The hi-mount shackles come with a round edge design that allows for either the use of a standard metal D-Ring or Soft Shackle.

The Hi-Mount Stinger’s low-profile design adds protection without obstructing your line of sight. Made of strong 3/16" hot rolled steel and 1 3/4” steel tubing and works in conjunction with the MetalCloak Hi-Mount Shackle Kit. The stinger protects the winch from damage when out on the trail while providing no loss in approach angle like typical bulky front bumpers. The stinger comes with welded on shackle mount recovery points for when you or others are stuck on the trail.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Stock Sway Bar?

The sway bar kit is made of 3/16" steel and provides a flush mounting point on the frame for the stock sway bar to be remounted to your Jeep. This kit comes with everything you need for a quick and easy installation.

Note: This kit is required if you have a TJ or LJ Wrangler with a stock sway bar.

Soft Shackles: On January 2024 Improved shackle mount design. The “rounded edge” design allows for the use of either standard metal d-rings or soft shackles.

Hoops: All TJ/LJ/YJ Hoops come with weld on shackles.
