Carrier Bearing Bracket for Jeep Gladiator 4 Link Suspension
Carrier Bearing Bracket for Jeep Gladiator 4 Link Suspension
You see it during final mockup. The suspension is right. The pinion angle is where it should be. Now the driveline needs to follow suit without creating vibration or forcing compromises. This bracket is what lets that happen cleanly.
A double triangulated rear 4 link changes how the rear of a Gladiator is laid out. When running a two piece rear driveshaft, the carrier bearing needs a solid, correctly positioned mounting point. This bracket exists to put the carrier bearing back where it belongs while working within a linked suspension layout.
The MB1583 welds directly to the Motobilt double triangulated rear 4 link crossmember and provides a stable mounting surface for a two piece rear driveshaft carrier bearing. It places the bearing at the factory height to maintain proper driveline angles and allows one inch of front to back adjustment to fine tune placement. Once set, the driveline stays smooth and predictable through suspension travel
Welding is required. This bracket is intended for experienced fabricators installing a linked rear suspension with a two piece driveshaft. Once installed, carrier bearing service and driveline setup remain straightforward without introducing unnecessary complexity.
Close with Certainty
When the suspension geometry is right, the driveline should follow without drama. This bracket keeps everything aligned and lets the Gladiator move the way it was built to.
