Carbon JL/JT Rubicon Front D44 32 Spline One Piece Conversion Kit

The Front Dana 44 Axle Conversion Base Kit is a tremendous upgrade to convert your factory CAD housing into a one piece axle design, providing increased strength and durability for your Rubicon JL Wrangler.

The Front Dana 44 axle kit is for Rubicon JL Wranglers and converts your CAD housing to a One Piece solution. The Axle are made of 4340 chromoly steel and is dual heat treated for unprecedented strength and durability making the Carbon Off-road Axles over 50% stronger than stock!

The axles are designed with large 5-7166X Series Spicer U-Joints. The Spicer U-Joints are engineered with a solid cold-formed body while the bearing cups are heat treated for strength. The u-joint is precision ground and case hardened for durability and the multi-lip seal keeps the grease in and contaminants out. The Spicer U-Joints come fully assembled with standard clips and are ready to install.

The axles include both the passenger and driver side axle shafts and come with a block off plate. The block off plate replaces the vacuum-actuated fork housing allowing you to convert your center axle disconnect (CAD) housing into a one piece axle design

Requirements: Removal of the FAD system may cause driveshaft vibrations. Will require a programmer (Tazer mini) to remove dash light warning.
